The problem with most anti-drug policies in America is that they really don’t work. Despite decades of the “war on drugs” and other policy initiatives from our various levels of government haven’t really put a dent in drug supply or use. In most communities in this country people who want meth or cocaine or marijuana and generally find it easy enough. In the long run most dealers and drug abusers may get arrested once or twice or a dozen times, but the supply and demand seems inevitable no matter what we do.
